Existing between language and drawing, these gestural marks are translated from found materials into large-scale screen prints, elevating fragments of possibility into finished works. Through acts of preservation and transformation, Chiswell invites viewers to reconsider where significance resides: in beginnings or endings, ideas or objects, and the moments that might otherwise be overlooked or discarded.
